They are able to feed on the substances passed to them by the air and even thrive on inorganic surfaces. Molds love moisture! Mold spores easily float about the air space, the moment there is an environment suitable for their growth, the infestation begins. If the growth is not treated in time, they spread and produce toxins harmful to health as they metabolize.
